TOWN ELECTION INFO – FILING ENDS JANUARY 30, 2026
The filing period for local elected positions is open NOW through Friday January 30, 2026.
The following are the offices on the March Ballot.
Town – File at the Town Clerk’s office
Selectman (2 x 3 years, 1 x 1 year)
Town Moderator (1 x 2 years)
Library Trustee (1 x 3 years)
Supervisor of the Checklist (1 x 6 years)
Ethics Committee (2 x 3 years)
Schools – File at the SAU Admin office
Weare School Board Member (2 x 3 years)
John Stark School Board Member (1 x 3 years)
SAU 24 Treasurer
SAU 24 Clerk
There may also be Moderator positions at both Weare and John Stark.

Want to help but not sure where to start?
As most of you know, approximately 70-80% of your tax dollars are raised to support school spending. Having conservative voices on the Weare School Board would be the most impactful to our community financially and culturally.
Supervisor of the Checklist is also very important because it is the keeper of the voter rolls. Ensuring only eligible voters are added, and the rolls are kept up to date, is critical to voter integrity.
Selectman can keep the town rural and ensure we don’t become another Bedford or Amherst.
